It is probably the same problem (but opposite) when you exit the shooting range where the game tries to recover a hundred of items at once. Multiply by several stacks of hacking items, biocells, etc. I have the feeling that it overflows the memory and leads to a crash because you don't drop stacks but unique items, for instance if you have a stack of 25 painkillers in your inventory, you will drop 25 bottles. Discard a few items, close the inventory, discard a few more, and so on. A B-ranked expansion item takes 3x2 places in the inventory, a A-ranked takes 5x2 and a S-ranked takes 6x3. It does work, just a tip though: don't drop all your stuff at once as it also crashed my game, it was like all the items exploding from my corpse.
